Supposed reasons why only 9% of Wikipedia editors are female. Break the odds, warriors! It's important for the go-to website of human knowledge to have a roaring wave of female voices.

Less than 1/4 of the Texas legislature is female. Yet, half of people in Texas are female. Equal representation? I think not. Faith in humanity lost.

#StandWithWendy That heroine, Wendy Davis, went without a bathroom break or a rest for 13 hours -- but think about the part of her soul she had to sell to even get one monetary support for of the few spots in government for women.

www.nytimes.com I can not fathom how the Texas legislature even attempted to vote on any bill concerning "Women's Rights" when 80% of its Representatives and Senators are, in fact NOT WOMEN.

Irregardless of your opinion on abortion and birth control, women still desire abortions (and get them) when they are not capable of raising the child in a healthy environment. Women still use birth control to control their family size. Wealthy/middle-class women can get abortions at any cost, under any state of law. They can travel to other countries. They can hire a specialist. Better yet, they can prevent pregnancy with birth control. Poor women have the least amount of access to birth control, and have the most unintended pregnancies. No surprise there. And its no surprise that they would seek more abortions, considering their environment and income size. When abortion is illegal, they must turn to unsafe methods or deliver an unwanted baby. Most criminals were unwanted. My personal opinion concerning abortion is irrelevant. The facts stand alone.
