White privilege continues to go unrecognized, as people, particularly whites, are unaware that they have this privilege. Many laws are written from their life perspectives and doesn't take into account the effects it has on other races. As a African American i can attest to the thought of feeling inadequate at times because of my race. The white race is willing to admit that we are oppressed and discriminated against, but at times fail to admit that this privilege exists. Things such as bad behaviors being blamed on your race or even finding a bandage in your skin color are just some of the small things that come out of being marginalized against.hopefully we are working towards a society that will make a change.
