The United Nations General Assembly met today with world leaders speaking to the delegation about our global community's current state of affairs. Attached is the transcript of President Obama's speech. In it, he stresses that the international community must come together and act as one united body. He also points out that amid these crises, it is a blessing to be born now more than ever due to factors such as literary rates and global public health on the rise. With ISIS wreaking havoc, the ebola epidemic on the rise, and other issues challenging the international community, how do you feel about our world's current state of affairs? And more tangentially, do you feel the United Nations has any power in solving these issues?
