Some Japanese people believe it is obvious that the famous Hayao Miyazaki character, Totoro, is a God of Death. They believe this because of ancient folk tales that seem to mirror the plot of Miyazaki's film. Although Studio Ghibli denies it, others believe that it is truly a Death God's tale.
