Skunks as pets

Although capable of living indoors with humans similarly to cats or dogs, pet skunks are relatively rare, partly due to restrictive laws and the complexity of their care. Pet skunks are mainly kept in the United States, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and Italy.

I remember spotting a huge local skunk at my school campus. His signature stink was evident in the air, then the huge skunk casually walked out from a bush. Every body let the skunk pass and tried not to scare it. One woman took pictures of the huge beast. It was a very lovely skunk, and judging by the size of it, I would say that the skunk was possibly a pregnant mother! Ever since I saw that huge thing, I wondered if a skunk would make a great pet.
