low sodium diet are not away the best choice, it cause great danger to your health and if your pregnant your baby health. What some people don't know is that salt is as essential to the body as water is and help maintain your body water balance and pH level.It actually healthier to consume more salt than less salt and are actually more liking to live a longer life (base from what i learn from internet stats. from Harvard). Plus pregnant women should defiantly not go on a low sodium diet because it can cause great health defects on our child.
