Did you know that Queen Victoria's real first name was actually Alexandrina? She was named Alexandrina Victoria, after the emperor of Russia and her mother. Her uncle, King George IV, disliked her father, the Duke of Kent, so much that he refused Victoria's parents parents the right to name her Georgina, Charlotte or Augusta (typical family names of the British royal family at the time, that he later allowed to be used for other nieces!)
