This article gives brief synopses of The Last Time We Say Goodbye, Dark Places, Things You Won't Say, A Fall of Marigolds, The Boston Girl, First Frost, The Book of Unknown Americans, Before I Go, Inside the O'Briens, Landline, Yes Please, The Girl on the Train. I definitely recommend Amy Poehler and Rainbow Rowell's books.

Speed Reading

This seems like it would be something to try. I have always been a slow reader. This has been in issue for me especially in English classes when we were assigned long passages to read every night. This was also my biggest weakness when taking standardized tests because I was such a slow reader I never finished a single section. This would have come in handy.
