During tough economic times, families do their best to support loved ones. There are parents that barely get an opportunity to see their children because they work non-stop. Some families use most of their savings to support their own business. Unfortunately everyone’s best is not always good enough. At anytime businesses may start to struggle due to low sales, loss to their competition, etc. This can lead to employees receiving reduced hours, lower salary, or the possibility of unemployment. There are quite a few forms of government that have a strong impact on poverty. When these types of governments (civil, community, church, family, self, God’s sovereign) collapse, it becomes a lot harder to avoid poverty. If the governments are consistent, there is no need for many people to reach poverty. When civil government replaces another form of government, it could become more difficult to put an end to poverty.
