Pokémon (anime)

Pokémon (ポケモン, Pokemon), abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters (ポケットモンスター, Poketto Monsutā) and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets, concurrently airing in 98 countries worldwide. It is based on Nintendo's Pokémon video game series and is a part of the Pokémon franchise.
