Pippin is a beautiful show, with a good message, but a weird ending. The main character, Pippin, travels across the Holy Roman Empire trying to find his purpose. The story is told by a band of players who are kin to circus people. They are led by the leading player, who tries to convince Pippin to light himself on fire to create one glorious ending. Now on Broadway!
