This is a disorder that I grew very curious to know more about. My sister-in-law came across a couple through Facebook who had a child born with this disorder. She was being told by doctors that they predicted that the infant would be born still born. However this little boy shocked thousands of us and was able to live to be 165 days old. To follow this couple that was celebrating this beautiful baby's life was so heart wrenching and it made me read about and do some research about the disorder. The mother of this little fella has donated the rest of his funds since his passing to other families with children that have the Trisomy 13 disorder. It is a great thing she is doing!!
