Tree of Life

This is a painting that I did with acrylic paints. I used literal interpretation in colors to paint Jesus Christ into the tree of his crucifixion.

The Spencer Family

This is a painting of a woman of the Spencer family (1630s) by Sir Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641), a Flemish baroque painter. van Dyck is one of my favorite baroque artists, but that's beside the point. Though details of her identity are sparse, she is of the same family line as Princess Diana! Info from Baroque Painting 228

Layers of Paint

Artist Emilio Perez breaks the rules of art by payering different types of paint on top of each other. Cool effects.
