This is a picture of the Ultra Deep Field, taken by the Hubble Telescope, that some say is the most important image ever taken. While that is a matter of opinion, the argument for it is that this picture shows us just how small we are in an ever-growing universe. I personally think that even if it is not THE most important image ever taken, it still causes a sense of deep, heartfelt awe to grow in me every time I see the picture or watch this video about it.
