The ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) // is a wild cat native to the Americas. It is found extensively in Central and South America, Mexico, and the islands of Trinidad and Margarita. North of Mexico, it is found regularly only in the extreme southern part of Texas, although there are rare sightings in southern Arizona.
