How to propagate Muscat vine I googled and read up on how to propagate vines with cuttings. I bought the rooting hormone, followed instructions and after two years, nada. One spring, I was standing over my compost pit and I noticed what looks like small muscat vines. I was curious, so I dug them up. Turns out the cuttings that rooted and sprouted was from the previous winter when I trimmed the vines and buried the trimmings in the compost pit. So, this winter take a few cuttings and bury it 2 inches deep and just let nature take it's course. Make sure to use the thick end of the cutting, have three nodes per cutting and water occasionally. Good Luck!
