Clear your mind! Meditation is one of the best things you can do for your mental health and it is almost too simple (like this site ;) ) that is seems difficult--not to mention there are a billion ways to meditate but I'll suggest a few beginners techniques. OK get in a comfortable position, close your eyes, set a timer for however long you wish to proceed I usually do 20-30 mins. Then begin to count. 1, 2, 3, 4.. 1,2,3,4.. over and over making sure you take deep long breaths and keep your focus on the breath with the numbers as your guide. Its harder than it sounds! For me anyway, my mind seems to drift and it will, its natural. When you realize you have lost focus acknowledge the thought and let it go. The point is to clear and focus your mind, we go a mile a minute these days and we need to stop and center. You could go on a walk in the forest. Or meditate on a single word or feeling. Anything that will give yourself a break from stress. life isnt that bad! :)
