Whats a Bearcat? Do they even exist?

Believe it or not, the binturong, more commonly known as a bearcat, is indeed a real live animal that inhabits regions in Southeast Asia. It is the mascot of Monroe High School and a few small colleges. It has residency in a few zoos across the country, but most reside in their natural habitat. If you have never heard of this peculiar animal, don't feel left out! I personally hadn't until a high school football game where we played against the Monroe Bearcats and the chant "What's a Bearcat" echoed across the stadium.
