15 Minute Stove Top Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients 8 oz. elbow macaroni noodles 3/4 cup milk (I'd recommend 1% or 2%, whole was too rich) 1 Tbsp butter 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/8 tsp garlic powder 6 drops hickory smoke flavor, such as Liquid Smoke 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (or 1 tsp if you like more mustard flavor) 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste 2 large egg yolks 1/2 cup evaporated milk 4 oz. French Onion Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese boxed dinner, prepared according to box directions 1 tsp olive oil 1 large onion (or two small ones), halved and sliced to make thin strips dash of salt 1 tsp fresh thyme (or dried) 1 tbsp beef broth 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded 1/4 cup crushed croutons Instructions While the macaroni and cheese is boiling, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the onion and salt and stir occasionally till the onions start to turn brown and caramelize. Add the beef broth and thyme, and cook until the broth is absorbed. Top your bowl of prepared mac and cheese with some of the onion mixture, sprinkle with a little swiss cheese and crushed croutons.

Grown-up Mac and Cheese Recipe

Buffalo Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients Original Mac and Cheese, prepared according to package instructions Ranch dressing 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles 1 stalk of celery, diced Buffalo wing sauce Instructions Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions. Place in serving dishes. Top each bowl with desired amount of ranch dressing and wing sauce. Sprinkle with just a little bit of blue cheese, and celery.

Taco Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients Original Mac and Cheese, prepared according to box directions Leftover taco meat, warmed up* sour cream diced tomatoes sliced jalapeños chopped cilantro *any other taco toppings you like (ex: salsa, crushed chips, diced green onion, black olives) Instructions Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to box directions. Divide among bowls then top with a little bit of taco meat, sour cream, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, and chopped cilantro. Add additional toppings of your choice if desired. Enjoy!
