This hotel is located on the property of the Universal Orlando Resort. It is probably the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in! Like its sister hotel, the Royal Pacific Resort, it offers transportation by water taxi to the theme parks and also gives its guests express passes that allow them to take the express lines on almost all attractions an unlimited number of times from the day you check-in until the time the parks close on the day you check-out. There are only a few rides that these passes cannot be used on because they do not have express lines: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Pteradon Flyers (in Jurassic Park). This hotel also has two pools. One of them is called the beach pool. This is because the outer edge of the pool is surrounded by white, powdery sand. The hotel itself is Italian-themed. The architecture has an Italian façade that is designed to make you feel as though you are actually in Italy. It has a large courtyard area that borders the lagoon that the water taxi drives on. Around the courtyard are many different restaurants including a pizza and sub place. Although it is on the expensive side, it is a great hotel, and if you are planning to stay onsite, I would recommend it!
