There is no better time than when summer rains come to the desert where I'm from. The clouds atop the surrounding mountains create a simply breathtaking view.

El Matador

Took this using 35mm film. This is El Matador beach in Malibu, California. Absolutely one of the most gorgeous places I've been. If you ever have the chance to go, make sure it's during low tide so you can crawl in the caves and explore a bit more.

Hiking at Colchuck Lake

Colchuck Lake is a very uniquely-colored lake in Leavenworth Washington that is surrounded by snow-covered mountains and lush forests. It is definitely a place to see and experience if you are willing to make the 6-mile day hike up through the forest that surrounds the lake.
