All of the Kennedy daughters attended The Convent of the Sacred Heart. Pat Kennedy was seriously unhappy in her marriage to Peter Lawford. She drank heavily during their marriage and rarely interacted with their children. Also during this time, through Peter Lawford's Hollywood connections (especially as a member of the "Rat Pack," with Frank Sinatra), Pat become close with Marilyn Monroe. This relationship helped to keep Marilyn's affair with the president, Pat's brother, JFK, quite.
