You know the muppets? If you don't look them up. The founder, Jim Henson, go really sick from the flu one year. The incubation period for the flu is about 3-4 days. The microorganisms in your throat that cause strep throat are Strep Group A, and they are also flesh eating organisms, they can kill you. Ok, so why is this important and what does it have to do with the flu. Jim got the flu, and as he was getting better he all of a sudden got sick again and assumed it was his flu relapsing. He got so ill he was on his death bed when he found out it wasn't the flu. THE INFLUENZA VIRUS DOES NOT RELAPSE! He died from Strep organisms, so if you get sick with the flu, start to heal and then get sick again, GET TO A HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY!!!
