Illegal immigration to the United States

Illegal immigration to the United States is the entry into the United States of foreign nationals without government permission, and in violation of United States immigration laws. Foreign nationals are also illegal immigrants if they continue to be in the country after their visa, or other authority to enter or be in the country, has expired. The United States had nearly open borders until 1924, with only 1% of those trying to get in rejected, usually because they failed the required mental or health exam. The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 and a few other modest border regulations were enacted in the 1870s and 1880s. The Immigration Act of 1924 established visa requirements and enacted quotas for immigrants from specific countries.

People are tired!

Just last Saturday I went to my first protest. This immigration reform people are asking is a huge deal that President Obama promised for at the beginning of his first term. Till this day that promised has not been made and people are tired. Families are being separated. Children are being left alone in the country. In my opinion this group had the right to protest. It is wrong to think you really aren't free in a country where millions of immigrants first came.

"The numbers say it all." As immigrants struggle to benefit their families, why not the United States benefit from the immigrants. As it sounds as situational irony, it clears a questionable situation that could positively help the United States create a better balance country in all aspects. As it will promote fairness, freedom, and especially as the constitution states it "One nation under good, invisible, liberty, and justice for all."
