Mulan's True Story

We all know the Disney version of the story, but in actuality, Mulan went to war to take her father's place disguised as a man. In order to escape her household, she challenged her own father in guise. Mulan won and revealed herself as his daughter. Her father gave his consent after she had proven herself. In the end, Mulan did not fall in love with a general, but became one herself. She's one of the coolest heroines in history.
