The Creator of Monopoly Stole the Idea from a Woman

Charles Darrow, the man credited with creating the game Monopoly, was recently discovered to have stolen the game from a woman named Lizzie Magie. She had patented a game called "Landlord's Game" which actually decried the evils of monopolies. Darrow got the game from some Quaker friends and sold it to Parker Brothers as his own.
