Gilbert is known throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area as the "small town feel without the big city bustle". Even with a blossoming population, Gilbert has maintained a low crime rate, and little to no crowded feeling. For those who like a small town, Gilbert is the place for you! That being said, there have been several who call Gilbert a boring city. But with only a 10 minute drive from Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, and Tempe, there are many other places to visit, and things to do. With this short distance to multiple entertainment super centers, you can enjoy all the fun you want, without all of the unattractive sort those areas tend to invite being right in your backyard.
