The $10 bill will no longer have Alexander Hamilton on it. The question now is which woman should replace him? The Treasury department is getting responses from social media using the hashtag #TheNew10. I've seen people support Harriet Tubman, Eleanor Roosevelt, and even...wait for it...Ayn Rand, the most radical of them all. It would certainly fit having her face on money though, as she near-worshipped the dollar sign as a symbol of the individual's ability to thrive in free enterprise. While Rand is a bit too outrageous and controversial of a figure and there are bound to be some unhappy people once a specific woman is chosen, I would like to say in response to this whole ordeal: it's about time.
