Remember to never feed your dogs chicken bones. When they are cooked it softens the bones which can splinter and get lodge in the dogs throat. If your dog happens to get a hold of a chicken bone DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! This could cause the bone to become even more lodged in their throat. You can put them on a soft diet of white rice and cooked skinless, boneless chicken. Monitor your pup for signs of discomfort and lethargy. Contact your vet immediately and always do what they recommend.

Yellow Dog Project

This is good advice if you have a dog that should not be approached or petted. It can be used for dogs with bad temperament towards dogs or people, dogs that are in training and dogs with health issues. Even if a dog does not have a yellow ribbon on their leash it is always good to remember to ask the owner if they are people, child and animal friendly.
