1 stick of butter (room temperature) 1 package of cream cheese (room temperature) 1 cup of castor sugar* A dash of vanilla extract or other flavorings Blend the butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Add your vanilla or other flavoring. Slowly add the castor sugar until it reaches your desired consistency. Use immediately or keep it in a sealed container in the fridge. Yields two cups of frosting *castor sugar is essentially regular cane sugar that has been ground, resulting in a much finer crystal. Powdered sugar will work just as well, however you will likely need more than one cup

Just don’t bake it.) up to 1/4 cup milk of choice, only if needed Sweetener of choice (see note below, for amount) 1/3 cup chocolate chips, or these: Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips 2 to 3 tbsp oats (Ground flax will also work) Add all ingredients (except for chocolate chips) to a good food processor (not blender), and blend until very smooth. Ingredients : Original recipe makes 4 dozen 1 cup butter or margarine 1 cup white sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F In a large bowl, stir together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the batter just until blended, then mix in the chocolate chips so they are evenly distributed. Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets spacing 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven until the edges begin to turn golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
