It's of the utmost importance that everyone can respect every culture. But that can be difficult considering how many people, regardless of race, are not aware of how they can appropriate cultures that they did not grow up in. The name of the woman narrating this video is Akilah, her youtube channel is Smoothiefreak. In this video she sheds light on the issue of cultural appropriation focusing specifically on unfortunate (and yet true) events that occur where various minorities cultures are heavily appropriate during Halloween by white people. But that does not mean that a minority can't appropriate another minorities culture, b/c it is possible for either one to appropriate the others culture (e.g. Black person wearing native am. garments)
