In The USA following the financial crisis corruption in the financial sector has received significant attention. Political corruption has been a long-running issue. In spite of these setbacks the US maintains extensive anti-corruption legislation with a very decentralized structure. No country had a perfect score on Transparency International's annual survey of perceived corruption but Denmark came the closest with 92/100. We have a lot of improvement we have to do, especially if we want to be ranked higher than countries like Canada!
