Compassion International is by far one of the best charities I have worked with. What happens is you sponsor a child by giving them a monthly allowance. But, not only do you supply them with money, but you get to know them and help bring them and yourself closer to Christ. You can send them cards and small gifts and they write you back! I have developed a relationship with a little girl and have come to know what giving really means. It means Love.
