Code Geass

, often referred to as simply Code Geass, is a Japanese anime series created by Sunrise, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by manga authors Clamp. Set in an alternate timeline, the series focuses on how the former prince Lelouch vi Britannia obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to obliterate the Holy Britannian Empire, a superpower that has been conquering various countries.

The character "C.C." is pronounced "C2". phonetically: see-tooh. Should you be unfamiliar with the pronunciation because you only ever read the manga or other reasons. Please do not pronounce her name "see-see" in front of others who may have seen the show nor should you do this anywhere near an Anime Convention or Anime Club. Lest you be given dirty looks and rude corrections. I have learned this from experience. -_-

There is a debate on whether or not Lelouch is still alive. Even though he appeared to be killed, at the end of the last episode C.C. is shown to be talking to seemingly no one in the back of the hay cart. However at one point she says "Isn't that right, Lelouch?" and looks towards the driver of the cart. This leads some to believe that Lelouch is alive and is with C.C. driving the cart.
