Jesus also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth and Jesus Christ, was a first-century Jewish preacher and religious leader.

Virtually all modern scholars of antiquity agree that Jesus existed historically, although the quest for the historical Jesus has produced little agreement on the historical reliability of the Gospels and on how closely the Jesus portrayed in the Bible reflects the historical Jesus. Jesus was a Galilean Jew and often being referred to as "rabbi". Jesus debated with fellow Jews on how to best follow God, engaged in healings, taught in parables and gathered followers. He was arrested and tried by the Jewish authorities, turned over to the Roman government, and was subsequently crucified on the order of Pontius Pilate, the Roman prefect. After his death, his followers believed he rose from the dead, and the community they formed eventually became the early Church.

I've got a THIRST for Jesus

My cousin and I had a somewhat funny conversation about this picture, and she somewhat ended with, "Well, Jesus loves you regardless of if you're 1st, 2nd, or an imaginary rank" ^_^ (Credit I believe goes to Christian Memes)

If only we could always remember how precious the gift of worshiping our God is and never take it for granted. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." ~Matthew 11:28

Father Forgive Them by Akiane Kramarik

The Anthill Ashes by Akiane Kramarik "When life lies down on the song of a bird The resurrection returns my name And I break the brakes of senses To taste the steady pain My cross is nailed into me I pity the fingers that scourge my face The minutes hurry the hours The hours hurry the days The loyal faces approach And run along with every summer Beside the flooded feet of love The hardened lives are turning numb Between my feet against the wind My words will cascade through the strife But if inside my eyes you see the flying geese The ropes will pause the next worn life The seasoned time has buried signs And swings like a branch above a lost sandal I step inside the ant hill ashes Becoming new and larger ant hill"

Probably looks nothing like the real Jesus, but the symbolism is comforting.

Today is society we have let men and traditions become the standard. We have fallen away from scripture and use the excuse that "times are changing" as if God almighty didn't know what he was doing when he created this world. Nothing is new under the sun therefore despite what we "feel" or "want" we must follow Christ and what the word of God says. Not tradition. Not men. Not a feel good "preacher". This video helps break down the TRUTH. Speak where the bible speaks, be silent where the bible is silent.

Similarities Between Jesus Christ and Horus, Egyptian Sun God Part 3

32.Both had their resurrection announced by women. 33.Both are supposed to return for a 1000-year reign. 34.Horus is known as KRST, the anointed one. Jesus was known as the Christ (which means "anointed one"). 35.Both Jesus and Horus have been called the good shepherd, the lamb of God, the bread of life, the son of man, the Word, the fisher, and the winnower. 36.Both are associated with the zodiac sign of Pisces (the fish). 37.Both are associated with the symbols of the fish, the beetle, the vine, and the shepherd's crook. 38.The catacombs of Rome have pictures of the infant Horus being held by his mother, not unlike the modern-day images of "Madonna and Child."
