Chopped (TV series)

Chopped is an American reality-based cooking television game show series created by Executive Producer Linda Lea, along with Dave Noll and Michael Krupat. It is hosted by Ted Allen. The series pits four chefs against each other as they compete for a chance to win $10,000. New episodes air every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on Food Network.

So, we may not have been on the actual show, but we did kick but in our culinary class's version of Chopped. "We're the Lumberjacks, cause we're chopping down the competition"

In one episode of Chopped, Ted Allen once used a synonym of "butterfly" referring to a way of cutting meat. One of the judges then corrected him by saying, "Do you mean butterfly?" And Ted Allen responded by saying that they are the same thing, but that the word he used was "funner" to say.
