Bristol Renaissance Faire

Bristol Renaissance Faire ("Bristol") is a Renaissance fair held in a Renaissance-themed park in the village of Bristol, Wisconsin. It recreates a visit of Queen Elizabeth I to the English port city of "Bristol" in the year 1574. The faire runs for the nine weekends from early July through Labor Day.

The Bristol Renaissance Faire has won the award of Best Street Cast for two years in a row as of 2012. The Street Cast features a wide range of characters, from Puppets, to Floozies, to Towne Criers and everything in between. The Street Cast focuses on making a connection with Faire patrons and including the patrons to make them feel as if they really are in Bristol in 1574.
