1. Sleep Over Barbie used to include a weight loss book, the only tip was "don't eat" 2. Demi Levato, after struggling with eating disorders herself, has started petitioning Matel to create a realistically proportioned Barbie doll. This doll will have a normal waist size and not be overly tall.

Barbie dolls have several classifications, most of them used to describe the amount of dolls in circulation and to help collectors determine how rare a certain doll may be. Pink Label indicates that a doll is made for everyday play, and has no production limit. Silver Label indicates that there are less than 50,000 of a particular doll in the entire world. Gold Label indicates that there are less than 25,000 in the entire world. Platinum Label indicates that there are less than 1,000 in the entire world. Black Label denotes dolls which are made specifically for adult collectors.
