Asian elephant

The Asian or Asiatic elephant (Elephas maximus) is the only living species of the genus Elephas and is distributed in Southeast Asia from India and Nepal in the west to Borneo in the east. Three subspecies are recognised—E. m. maximus from Sri Lanka, the E. m. indicus from mainland Asia, and E. m. sumatranus from the island of Sumatra.

Wow, I didn't know lions would be scared of an Bull Elephant. I cant believe elephant mothers would abandon there baby because of sensing danger.

You win more flies with honey than vinegar and that is the principal that is applied to the Mahout Training course in Thailand, a program that helps with the conservation of elephants as well as the humane treatment of elephants by their trainers teaching them to use love and respect and soft tipped rods rather than the inhumane bull hooks of the past.
