My grandfather, Frederick A Studer was stationed at Ft. Apache, A.T. at the San Carlos Indian Reservation 1892-94. He told me stories of his company trying unsuccessfully to track the Apache Kid when he left the reservation several times during that period. Rick Studer--bronxbum@gmail.com
