These three large amphorae were part of a ship's cargo that was lost at sea centuries ago. The remnants of marine life encrust the surface of each vessel, testifying to its long rest on the ocean floor and obliterating any details or marking that may have once existed on the exterior. These wonderful items are located at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
