Sure, there's the income gap, the rapidly growing tuition, the unsustainable healthcare policies that cripple us, the doctors, or both, etc. However, I argue that the American Dream is impossible for everyone because psychologically, it seems that there has to be someone at the "bottom". It's a cynical perspective and there are certainly exceptions, but I see it as generalized theory that applies to many real life situations.
