I'm rich now!! My chemistry teacher has taught us to turn copper into gold! What's the secret? Well, since we're all intelligent minds here, I'll tell you. It is the reaction between the copper in the penny (pre-1980's pennies), with a mixture of zinc, sodium hydroxide, and heat! We plated the penny in a zinc and sodium hydroxide solution, then put it on a hot plate and bam! Instant gold!
