Abortion debate

The abortion debate is the ongoing controversy surrounding the moral, legal, and religious status of induced abortion. The sides involved in the debate are the self-described "pro-choice" movement (emphasizing the right of women to decide whether to terminate a pregnancy) and the self-described "pro-life" movement (emphasizing the right of the embryo or fetus to gestate to term and be born). Both terms are considered loaded in mainstream media, where terms such as "abortion rights" or "anti-abortion" are generally preferred. Each movement has, with varying results, sought to influence public opinion and to attain legal support for its position, with small numbers of anti-abortion advocates sometimes using violence.

Many people would like to put even stricter regulations/restrictions on abortion, and some would even like to outlaw it. Tell me this, how would you feel if someone told you that you could only pee at 12:41pm and 9:07pm every day. And if you were caught peeing at any other time of the day, you would not only be shunned from society, but also possibly imprisoned? You wouldn't be okay with that, right? Because maybe it's not the right time to have to pee, or maybe you're not ready. Maybe you have something else going on that is taking up all of your time, or maybe you couldn't afford to drop whatever you were doing that very moment to go pee. This might be a very exaggerated version on what some people are trying to do with abortion, but it is still a very good example. And who knows? Maybe it's not exaggerated at all. It's your body, you should choose when you pee or not. You should choose what goes in, and what goes out of your body. Just like choosing when you would have a baby, or when you need to stop the pregnancy from happening (whichever reasoning you have behind that choice). And on my last note, birth control is NOT 100% effective, so stop with that excuse as to why abortion should be banned.
