Saw this and it looked interesting/cool, so I decided to share. Hopefully someone tries it out for themselves. :)

Nothing is cuter than a baby monkey, except possibly a baby monkey riding backwards on a small pig. Even better, there's a song about it. :)

For gifts, Easter projects, or just for fun. It's a pretty simple pattern. Necessities: F hook, yarn (your choice in color), and fluff stuffing. :)

Fears

Fears are "an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger" (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Almost all fears are irrational and are merely emotional imbalances within the brain. I have this particular fear and let me tell you, it is quite unpleasant.

So, for those of you who didn't know, this is the English version of the song Brothers, which is the main theme in the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime series. Vic Mignogna, the voice-over actor who performs as the voice of Edward Elric in both English dubs, sings this particular version of the song. The song is given more meaning when it is sung by Edward, who is singing these words from the bottom of his soul.

In Episode 10 of Over the Garden Wall, "The Unknown," toward the middle Wirt discovers Greg turning into an Edelwood tree. During that time, a slower version of "Potatoes and Molasses" is playing in the background. By using that song again, but in a more melancholic manner, the writers behind the show were able to convey the message of Greg's perseverance and the true sorrow and guilt that Wirt feels for letting his brother down. It really is rather beautiful and contributes to the meaning of the story as a whole.

If you have not seen Over the Garden Wall, I recommend that you do. It delves deeper into what we perceive in our minds and what appears on the outside to be true. Anyway, this video talks about the representations of hope and resignment within the show and its two protagonists: Wirt and Greg.

I Did This Once

If you ever plan to experience Oreos this way, then I reccomend getting the mini Oreo packs. They tend to come in a cup, so you can simply add milk and scoop out the Oreos with your spoon. I do warn you though, they get soggy rather quickly.

Ever since I was little, I always had trouble peeling the shells off of my Easter eggs. This demonstration actually makes it a lot easier. Go Russians!
