My favorite version of Pride and Prejudice! Although it does not follow the book, especially compared to most of the other movies it is modern, fun, and has a lot of exciting twists! Plus you do not have to worry about inappropriate actions or jokes because it is an LDS film production.

It is very common for cheerleaders to be seen as annoying, stupid, too out going or preppy, rude, bratty, insert whatever stereotype you want to here. It is depicted in shows and movies all the time. All though, sure some girls on cheer may act this way, not all do. More don't. Just because you are a cheerleader does not mean you need to live up to that sort of stereotype, actually that would be more like living down. I have seen many a girls make the cheer squad and all of a sudden change their personality. That is not how it should work. At cheer camp everyday we had to list ways we can change the way cheerleaders are viewed. Be nice, don't have cliques, include everyone, don't be scared to act nerdy from time to time, and so on. If one girl starts it, it will spread and cheerleaders will finally have a good image!

As with many religions the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as Mormon or LDS) has many break offs similar to it. The most common one are the FLDS or Fundamentalists. In the beginning of the church after Joseph Smith (the prophet) was killed by an angry mob, there was a lot of contention and confusion over who should be the next prophet. While the majority agreed with who took over, several did not and broke off into their own religions. Just because religions may have similar beliefs or names do not mean they are all the same. For example the FLDS still practice polygamy the LDS or Mormons stopped that many many years ago. Do not judge before you really know your facts. This goes for all religions. If you want to know more ask; just don't assume.

Not every body cringes at the site of a few more pounds when they step on a scale. I jump for joy when I see those numbers go up. There are many different reasons why people struggle gaining weight, and are too small. Just two of those are cystic fibrosis and a fast metabolism. I have cystic fibrosis. I have been on a 4,000 calories (at least) diet my entire life and have been under the 25th percentile in my weight almost my entire life as well. Some ways to help gain weight are 1) Eat or drink something high calories right before bed. While you are asleep you burn the least amount of calories, so if you eat right before you go to bed the calories have some time to turn to fat before you body gets up and going, burning those precious calories away in the morning. My choice drink are Ensures. A delicious, nutritious, 360 calories right before bed. 2) Snacks! Some people eat 2 or 3 meals a day. If you need to gain weight you should be eating 3 big meals and at least 3 snacks during the day. My choice snack is either fruit with some sort of dip (caramel, peanut butter, etc.) or a smoothie, with ice cream of course. 3) Oddly enough, work out. Muscle weighs more than fat, therefore the more you work out, the more muscle you gain, the more muscle you gain the more you weigh. Only if you are increasing your calorie intake of course. Lastly, remember you can eat a lot of calories and still eat healthy. Just because you want or need to gain weight does not mean your food needs to be unhealthy or fatty. Still watch the amount of sweets and highly saturated foods you intake.k

Has anyone seen Mulan 2? In the beginning she starts off with a song. Well I am going to change that song a bit and apply it to this topic. One alone is not enough, we need both together! Exercise alone is not enough, we need eating healthy too. You can exercise and exercise but if you are still eat really fatty and sugary foods you may loose some weight, but you will still not feel healthy. To really truly feel good, you need to exercise regularly, eat healthy andget to bed early and wake up early.

I know many people with cystic fibrosis and/ or asthma. Personally, I have them both. There are many people who say they CANNOT exercise because of these ailments, but in all honesty exercise is exactly what you need. The more you exercise the stronger your lungs get and the less often you will have an asthma attack or get a lung infection due to CF. I've had many people ask me why I exercise and I do it not because it is easy, because it is definitely one of the most difficult things for me to do, but because of it I will live longer, stay healthier, be stronger, and look better! So next time you think exercise is too hard, think again about the affect it can and should have on your life.

Every year wherever there is a major CF center the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations holds a walk to raise money and to raise awareness for CF. The money raised it put towards the study and development of more drugs.Every year they are getting closer and closer to find a cure, because currently there is not one. There is a medicine in the third trial phase being tested that could put a lot of the symptoms at bay and reverse some of the damage done to the lungs.
