I took this video when I stumbled upon the Congress Avenue bridge in Austin during sundown. Estimates of 1.5 million bats live under this bridge. I would highly recommend watching the bats leave for feeding next time you make it to the Texas capital. You couldn't capture the sounds, smells, and sights in any video as you can enjoy watching these bats in person during sunset. For more information you can go to austin.about.com

Jujube drying

The jujube can be eaten green, partially red, red, and totally dried. While green they are delicious in salads, eaten plain, or dipped in peanut butter. Whike green they have a very tart, green apple taste with very little sweet. As they turn red they begin to taste like a fig. I took this picture of a few of my jujubes in the process of drying.
